UK Governance

FSC UK sets forest management standards for the UK by inputting into the UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS), and promotes the FSC system by raising awareness of the value of responsibly managed forests, promoting FSC certification and providing advice, support, training and trademark services.

Strategy

The FSC UK 2024-2027 Strategic Plan builds on our previous three-year plans and is developed in the context of FSC’s global vision and mission and our own charitable objectives. 

 

Board of Directors

FSC UK is governed by its trustees, who are also known as the FSC UK Board of Directors. The trustees serve a three year term and are assigned one of the three chambers to show the balance of the interests of the governing board of FSC UK. Some of the FSC UK trustees are also FSC Members.
