Owen has represented FSC UK though two revision cycles of our Forest Stewardship Standard (we currently await the assessment of UKWAS 5 by FSC International), completed a Controlled Wood National Risk Assessment for the UK and led our work to try to make FSC more accessible to smallholders.
We'd like to say a big thank you to Owen for all of his hard work. It is impossible to summarise in a few sentences the contribution he has made to FSC in the UK. He is well-known to many of our stakeholders and we are sure he will be missed not just by us in the FSC UK team but by many of you and that you will join us in wishing him well in the future.
It has been a tremendous privilege to work for FSC UK for the best part of a decade. As I move on to the next challenge, I will remember with gratitude and fondness all of the wonderful people I have met inside and outside of FSC. My extended FSC family will always have my very best wishes.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of forest management in the UK to advise the UK forestry sector on FSC’s requirements for responsible forest management and work with us to promote the value of forests, demonstrate the impact and benefits of FSC certification.
