FSC will be making the provision of forest boundary information by Forest Management Certificate Holders a future requirement of certification. FSC International are in the process of developing an advice note to support Forest Management Certificate Holders regarding this requirement and will be consulting on the advice note in the near future. This will be an important consultation for UK Forest Management Certificate Holders as it will outline how the forest boundary information will need to be provided, the proposed timetable and the management / availability of the boundary data.
