The name Chatsworth may for many conjure up visions of stately homes, the landscaping of Capability Brown and a bygone era of grandeur. But as FSC UK Outreach Manager, Amy Willox learned when she took a look behind the scenes back in July, the Chatworth Estate of today must earn its keep, not least when it comes to the more than 1,600 hectares of woodland under its management.
